As long as you don't damage the caps the spar should be fine. They are what carry the main load, the web just separates them. That being said, I would want to repair the hole so I could move it to its proper location. I don't know if AC43 addresses the spar but it does describe skin repair. I would think filling with a plug, scarfing the surrounding area per the AC and patching would do the trick. Then re-drill and have a nice day. Keep in mind these are ideas based on standard literature with no experience whatsoever with Lancairs and honeycomb cores. I'm building a Glasair.
