Greetings all,
I'm about ready to seal/slosh my wing and I'm overwhelmed with the
variety of tank sealents available. They come in two part systems, one part
systems, some require primers, some don't. I even read somewhere that you
use regular epoxy but that sounds awfully heavy. Also the range in price is
from 44 dollars per gallon to 292 dollars per gallon!
I'm leaning towards the Randolph #912 which is advertised in the
Aircraft Spruce catalog, as superior to Randolph #802 which meets MIL-Spec.
The cost is a very reasonable 55 dollars per gallon. Does anyone have a
reason why I shouldn't?
