Jim,
   I'm using a PPG filler on my ES and it's been working out fine.  I use a
roller to put it on, first couple of applications with a lot of micro in it
rough sanded with 80 grit, then a couple more applications without the micro
using a finer sandpaper.  Comes out smooth as a baby's butt.  I can't
remember the exact name of it, but I'll get it next time I work on the plane
this coming week and let you know.  My builder guru says to add the micro to
fill the weave and low spots as it saves weight over filling with just paint
and will fill any low spots more quickly.
