Two tidbits of information. In performing fuel quantity measuring and testing on my 360 I have observed the following (note: I have been using 93 octane fuel purchased at the local gas station (cheaper and easier to get): 1. The fuel weighed close to 6.2 pounds per gallon 2. My wing tanks are extended to the outer bay, but the filler neck is located in the "standard" position, and each wing holds 21.1 gallons usable (for those still building, I think this may be a better set-up. The fuel flows in very quickly until it starts to feed into the outer bay. The amount of fuel lost for the dihedral is minimal). 3. The VMS totalizer calculated 21.5 gallons of "burn" when I ran all 21.1 gallons out of the left wing. This equates to a +2.2% error. I think that is pretty good, and I am glad that it is overestimating the fuel used - that should leave a small margin for error. 4. Fuel drains out of a gascolator at a rate of about 10 gallons per hour. If you intend to drain an entire wing tank through the header and out the gascolator drain, plan on some patience!!
