Fuel return decision is not as easy as it should be if you want to measure
fuel burn. I am not aware of any fuel flow sensors (two) and software that
will net the returned fuel from the fuel sent to the engine distribution
spyder.
If you don't care to measure burn rate, then you can return fuel to the
header tank. Just allow for an additional inlet up high on the tank.
If you DO want to measure burn rate, then put the flow transducer on the
line out of the header tank which will route to a small return log (mine is
about 2 pints?). This is now your return tank. Mine is an aluminum return
tank made by, I believe, Peterson. It also has a filter in it. Do all your
connections from this "tank".
