This is a reminder that the Virginia Festival of Flight will be held at the Suffolk Airport (KSFQ) on 31 May-1 June. That’s about two weeks away--about time to start planning for a weekend flying excursion during this glorious weather! The web site at www.virginiaflyin.org gives details of the event.

BE SURE to check NOTAMS and monitor the Unicom at 122.7 inbound, as the field will be closed for an airshow for short periods on Saturday and Sunday. There will be skydivers in the air almost continuously during daylight hours both days, so no over-flights of the airfield, and HEADS UP, please!
