Tape the edges of the gap, = squeeze in a bead of caulk, run a wet finger down the bead (some folks = like to use an ice cube), wait a few minutes and pull the tape at a 45 = degree angle away from the gap. It=E2=80=99s quicker, cheaper, lighter, = smoother and some might even think that it looks better (I do). = It=E2=80=99s easy to remove or cut when you want to remove the wing.
