I would like to see this discussion of the Legacy Canopy be concluded. Remember, we are flying EXPERIMENTAL aircraft. The analysis I have read seems reasonable! For those of you who want data, all it takes is money. I did a safety analysis on my LIV-P and having the door come open in flight was not an option, so I installed a WARNING light on the panel that blinds me when you close the door and have not closed the two latch handles. Remember the auto industry put a safety latch on the hood to keep from coming open and obscuring your vision if it came open and you don't see suicide doors on sedans any more, guess why!
