Bob –

Do a Google search for “Certified Aircraft Hose Shop”. I have used http://www.aircrafthose.com/ in the past. Every certified hose should have a metal band stamped with the part number and manufacture date. The part number describes the hose type, length, end fittings, angles, etc and follows a standard numbering scheme. Sac Sky Ranch had a nice page describing the numbering scheme, but as you point out, it’s no longer available. You should be able to simply read that number off to any certified hose shop and they will be able to reproduce it for you.

Note that if you got the hose though Lancair it may have a 4-digit part number in additional to the standard p/n.

Subject: Oil Lines

Gentlemen,

I need to replace a defective oil line to the right turbocharger on my TSIO-550 engine. Sacramento Sky Ranch made the originals in 2007 but is now out of business. I’d like to replace this single hose with the same type if possible. Specifically, it’s a Teflon hose with braided stainless cover and a molded brown silicone “fire sleeve” cover. Do any of you know who might make these hoses “to order?”
Thanks,
Bob Pastusek
