I just see the exhaust amount is enormous compared to mine and I did not clean mine for a
year. And mine wasn't that bad nor was it close to the pipe like Adam's. My exhaust starting sticking about 2-3 feet
back from the exhaust exit. Regardless if the cause is fuel or not, the placement and direction of the exit nozzle
probably should be changed to point away from the fuselage to prevent a repeat.
For my trip, it was spectacular, mostly VFR the entire
route Dallas, Vermont, Goose Bay, Narsarsuaq, Reykjavik, Edinburgh, Shoreham, Paris, Bologna, Prague. We are so lucky
with the comparatively low costs of flying in North America. To arrange a handler and seek permission for each flight,
each diversion, each fueling--makes you feel very out-of-control. VFR is difficult in many areas or impossible. As expected, there
were few GA ships where we traveled. Attached is a shot in Iceland the morning we were ready to depart. I will
do the return in July. I was able to avoid Jeppesen and those fees this time.
