Don't bother with the chart service.  Just subscribe to the nav database service through jeppesen.  You can get XM weather and XM radio for a discount if you purchase a 1,2,or 3 year plan.  I assume you have a GDL69A which is wx and radio.  The GDL69 is just wx.
Use your iPad for charts it's much cheaper and you can take them with you when you leave the airplane.  I had the chart subscription in my G1000 for two years and used it 3 times.
