OK it’s a little long but this is a fascinating article, although esoteric in parts. Particularly interesting was how to figure out how to strengthen an airplane against harm. Read it a couple of times and get more. You’ll wind up reliving experiences of your past.

The subject of this email may seem a bit awkwardly worded, but it's the essence of an article (link below), from a blog called You Are Not So Smart, A Celebration of Self Delusion. It's a long read, but a very interesting one about a phenomenon known in scientific circles as "survivorship bias."
