Use of the GPS is 100% ind= ependent of whether or not you have the 3G 4G actually activated. The Wi-Fi only model has no option for internal GPS or use of cellular. PC, are you sure you only have a Wi-Fi only model? Or if you just simply not= activated the cellular? Go to settings and see if there is an option for ce= llular that grayed out. Apple has not made any of their iPad models that are Wi-Fi only with an inte= rnal GPS. I was one of those geeks that got an iPad the first day that ever came out.
