I use blocks of styrofoam to support my 360 when testing the landing gear. I lift one wing with a tool lift that I got from Harbor Freight and slide the stack of foam under the wing. Then I move the lift to the other wing.
The foam is under the main spar and the load is widely distributed.
I taped the 2x12x18 foam pieces together in stacks of four just to keep the stack organized.
To tie down the tail I use a pair of handles secured to the concrete floor with red head anchors. The two ratchet straps each independently hold the tail.
The whole rig is rock solid, and I have no concerns climbing into the a/c or under it. I also like the simplicity of this scheme.
