I am presently flying w= ith the outflow valve covered and taped over because it seems to let out all= the pressure if I don't. I am only getting 2.0 max PSID so risk of over pre= ssure is not something I worry about although I watch cabin altitude and PSI= D pretty actively when I'm about 12,000 feet or higher.
