Hi gang:
Flying back to Tucson today in my IV and was checking stuff about the cabin.
The solenoid that is actuated by the pitot line pressure sensor switch, to
allow gear handle movement, was quite hot, I mean toasty. Anyone else noted
same, or is mine partially shorted internally? It actuates around 70 knots,
as it should, it moves down when checked on the ground, it's just hot in
flight. Check yours and see. Is there an updated part out there that I
haven't heard of? System is simple and effective, but it is "on" most of the
time.
