To everyone on the list curious about actual price difference between old
technology and new technology (SFS):  Plan to increase your panel cost by
$5K to $10K.  This is absolutely realistic.  I've been doing the math with
our customers (daily) and Hamid is correct.  Once you eliminate all the
other stuff the SFS takes care of, you wind up with about $10K less in your
wallet and technology in your aircraft that just a few short years ago
wasn't even available at any reasonable price !  If you've flown behind a
Sierra Flight Systems you probably realize a problem not cost
related.....can you imagine going back to steam gauges??
