Are you saying there is excessive friction with the blocks snugged up on
the tubes unmounted?
If so. sand them lightly to get a little better movement. The biggest
problem is getting them frictionless free when they are mounted. They
must be aligned to the perpendicular perfectly.
Do a micro release/build to align them perfectly. They will "break in"
slightly as you use them. No problems with mine after many, many
landings.
Can't tell you about the FB fuselage. Had to do all of the coring and
bid builds on my fuselage myself. I bought a sloooooww build kit. Can
tell you though that both seat supports need mountings.
