Hi Bob,

TAWS alive and well now.  I had an older Chelton ( in reality is was a Sierra Flight Systems box) in MFD two position and newer Chelton as PFD.  Brent had updated the newer one to latest SW and latest terrain DB.  The older Chelton had latest firmware version but I think older terrain DB.  Recently Brent updated my 2nd newer Chelton and put in new terrain DB.  I installed it and the problem with TAWS disappeared.  I thought PFD would push terrain DB to MFD, but I guess this did not happen.  I figure competing DB versions threw the Chelton/Pinpoint system into a quandary and it just failed the TAWS as a result.
