Hi Shane,
We had a problem on ES 39WG as well.
The second time we sen= t the strut back to the factory (Not Lancair, they forwarded it the first t= ime, I sent it direct the 2nd time) they called me to say that it met alll = the specs for a new strut and was likely the boot (nose wheel pant).  = I have movies of before and after but they are too big to email.  Bill= added 17 ounces of lead shot and epoxy to the nose cavity so that the CG o= f the wheel pant was the same as the mounting screws that hold it to the fo= rk.
Problem solved.  YMMV (your mileage may vary).
BTW, I have had no problems with engine vibrations so far.  The airpl= ane now has 120 hrs. on it and I am flying it today and Sat. and it is for = sale.
