Hi Ralf

Good to hear from you.

The bad news is that I have already replaced 2 props on my plane (includes 2 engine inspections). The first was

the takeoff acrobatics at N.Las Vegas back in 2003. The 2nd was the taxiway rock at Livermore in 2009.

Im thinking of going back to boats. Instead of buying props, I can just throw money in the water.

After I sheared off 2 of the 3 wires on the tach sensor, I very
carefully soldered the leads back on and potted them with RTV and left
them to set. Tomorrow I will add some heat shrink tubing and then try
to reinstall without doing any damage.

Let me know how your DPU repair turns out
