The auto-trim box is intalled somewhere between your manual trim = switches and the servo. When you turn the auto-trim on, you are energizing relays which wholly = disconnect your manual switches and connect the servos to the auto-pilot = trim logic. Were you to have a problem with that, you would hope to = de-energize the relays, and hope the springs will pull the contacts back = to the manual trim side. If you install safety-trim with auto-trim you need to think that through = thoroughly or you won't get the safety feature you were hoping for.
