Basically it controlls my elevator and aileron trim at two different speeds based on the input of a speed switch that I set at around 140 knots in my IV. Also if the trim switch sticks, the device shuts down the output after three seconds so you cant have a runaway trim. It has a reverse position that is allegedly suppose to return the trim back to the position it was in prior to the runaway but I have never used that. probably overkill and not the cheapest solution but it works for me. http://www.tcwtech.com/Safety-Trim%20Page.htm --20cf307cfeccf0de1b04d9021c59 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I use a device called "safety trim". =A0Basically it controlls my= elevator and aileron trim at two different speeds based on the input of a = speed switch that I set at around 140 knots in my IV. =A0Also if the trim s= witch sticks, the device shuts down the output after three seconds so you c= ant have a runaway trim. =A0 It has a reverse position that is allegedly su= ppose to return the trim back to the position it was in prior to the runawa= y but I have never used that. =A0 probably overkill and not the cheapest so= lution=A0but it works for me.
