Looks about right for size and angle to correct a heavy pedal typical in
the 235/320/360 models. Round off the rear corners of the tab a little
helps make it blend in with all of the flowing curves of the Lancair
airframe.

Once again duct tape rides to the rescue.
This tab is 4"x1
1/8"x.032 Al and with an 8º bend.
I didn't get around to scanning the ball
for a bit but back up at 200kts there was obvious improvement.
Ball
centered with no help from my left foot. If I had white duct tape I'd be
tempted to 'set it and forget it' as my carpenter would say.
But I'll round
the corners, polish, and try the silicone approach.
Scott's internal rudder
trim is certainly more elegant, but I'm out of the building and into the
flying mode!
At least until I get back to my shop and my half built chopper
starts to wink at me.
