Jim, I have the Superior XP 360 B1A2 engine in my recently completed 360 mk II. It has a forward facing Precision Injector servo which gets ram air from the lower scoop, or filtered air from a butterfly valve. I have the 8.5 pistons which results in 180 horses but takes mogas. It can be ordered with 9.5 or 10.0 pistons. The current XP 360 have roller lifters and many improvements over the Lycoming engines, and they are much less $. Engine runs perfect, uses no oil. Speeds are 200mph low and 220 at 10k, at 8gph. Why spend the extra money for Lycoming, when you don’t need certified engine?
