thanks to all that reply re the baggage key, it seems like i will drill it and place a new one, still looking into the pick looks interesting\

by the way thanksgiving day climbing out of 17000 on the evo acquired a small amount of rime ice, lost 20 kts on the climb and then it took one hour

to sublimate

of the evos out there with electrostatic deicer can you comment on the effectiveness of it?

This is a link on how to pick an ace style tubular lock. It requires a special pick but maybe is the cleanest answer. You can make a key after you get the lock picked.

Since my L320 key is the same “Ace” as several others, but with different 4 digit code, it appears these come with many different codes, maybe 9,000? Wouldn’t be much of a lock if other codes worked. Can these be picked? If not, Andres, you may have to grind off the chrome face and drill it out. Chicago lock or a good locksmith can then replace it. I’ll drill it out for you for a ride in the L4.
