I really appreciated all of your insights. I just sent 14 pages of comments off to the senior leadership of EAA. Here's the simple summary: A couple of summary points: 1. There is a lot of sensitivity around the cost of food. 2. There was a thread going through many conversations saying that the convention was rapidly becoming just a commercial event and that its roots were being neglected. A number of suggestions revolved around providing "special" considerations for show plane pilots. 3. Quite a few people mentioned the unhappy olfactory experience of being downwind of the PortaPotty truck while it was "collecting" during the day. 4. To some extent, the homebuilders are feeling encroached upon by the warbirds. There seem to be fuel and parking advantages for the warbird folks that homebuilders would like to see extended to themselves. 5. A number of comments about the forums - primarily about sound and being able to get in. Thanks for your help. JLP John L.
