I had some hydraulic fluid puddling around the left side down lock pin for a while. Wiped it up and decided to watch it as I think pulling the seal out would be a major bitch because of the strong spring contained therein. Seeped a bit more, than stopped altogether. My guess a bit of junk under the O-ring that wriggled loose eventually.
Given the possible difficulty of replacement, you might consider just watching for a while. Sometimes these things heal themselves.
