The only big proble= m is if the runway is a little rough, the old strut will not be able to hand= le the shimmy damping. It's imperative to have the new style strut. I test f= lew an ES in Bolivia that had the latest mods and factory service on an old s= tyle (but brand new) strut. It worked ok for about 4 landings and after tha= t there was completely no shimmy dampening. Installed the new style strut a= nd it's been good every since. Joaquin will probably tell more about it sin= ce he's here on the list too Ron Sent from my iPhone On Sep 11, 2012, at 12:19 PM, George Wehrung wrote: > Does anyone know if there are limitations to landing the ES on grass strip= s?
