But you're right exactly about moving them a little forward. << The hard line has a substantial jog in it, both to clear the tire and also so that I can clamp it with an Adel clamp to the phenolic plate that the cylinder "bolts" to. The Adel clamp goes around the fitting on the outboard end of the hard line. The fitting attaches to a union, and thence to the fitting on the inboard end of the flex line. Tighten the fittings first, THEN the Adel clamp. My EAA Tech Counselor thought my fix was just fine. >> And it may be just what I do to the bottom line as well..
