Is it not true that Boeing and the military have gone to white lighting some
time ago? I am planning a strip of very small clear bulbs on a dimmer
encased in a white flexible plastic tube along the edge of the glairsheild
that is approximately six inches from the panel. Shop testing not complete.
I'm moving the bulb spacing to adjust brightness to a maximum level then in
the aircraft I will dim them as required. I love the Aeroenhancements system
but this is one part that is enjoyable to build yourself for about 1/20 the
cost. Look for ideas amongst the custom car parts supply houses. Miniature
fluorescents are available now too.
