The fix should be quite easy, however, until I have the time to install the micro switches, I just make sure to double check the flap travel after running them to full reflex during my pre-flight. I also carry the tools to fix things if it all jams up out in the boonies - a long handled screwdriver (to pry the pin out of the end of the actuator and the flap lever), a magnetic pick-up (because at least half the time, the safety clip falls down where fingers can't reach) and the necessary tools to open the rear pushrod/flap lever cover (on mine, that's a #2 Phillips). Maybe this should be a SB, but on the other hand, it seems to only have happened to a couple of airplanes. If it were me and I was at the stage where I was wiring the circuit, I'd put in the physically actuated switch. I don't know why the magnetic switch gets fooled every so often, but it does.
