Had the cowling off today and took a photo of the scoop looking down from the top of the oil box (attached).

I don't have a photo. See attached drawing I put together in AutoCAD. You can make it out of carbon fiber, as the temps in the oil box are not that hot. Make the width equal to the deep fin width (something like 2-3/4" or so) and the height the same as the width. The bottom of the wedge is at the bottom of the oil box. I connected mine with flush rivets on the cylinder side.
I tried the hat approach prior to the scoop. No comparison. The hat barely helped, the scoop solved the problem.
