I think most Lancair pilots have gone with Tru-Trak and have been happy.
That said, I would note that the landscape is changing once again. GRT, Garmin, and Avidyne all have auto-pilots of some sort now, for example. Which one would be interesting to you will interact with your final choice of a PFD. If you think it will be up to a year before you fly, you might want to just defer your servo installation until you are getting very close and see what the market, and the user reports have to say at that point.
