Up to now i have been blocking out the original w= ls primer and overlaying it with the recommended SW epoxy primer and then bl= ocking that out before final paint. The manufacturer states that the final c= oat material will also do well over wls as long as it is sanded to 320 grit.= So all is good until I get to some surfaces that have a heavy coat of wls w= hich I block out aggressively to get a flat surface that leaves one or two t= iny areas of exposed micro or glaze (not raw glass). Now I am faced with a d= ilemma, do I take the chance and final coat or bite the bullet or re-prime t= he whole bloody thing and block it out again? I know what the book says but= I would like to hear from those of you who have had experience with this ch= oice. What I am talking about are one or two half inch wisps of exposed mate= rial on ailerons. When I paint the wings I won't be taking any chances but c= urious to know if you painters have seen delamination of paint due small spo= ts of missing primer. =20 Thanks=20 Tom
