Yep, its important to get that ga= p right =AD too close and the edges of the skins will touch and at minimum chip the paint =AD that happened to me after hitting some failure severe turbulence. My wing gap on the bottom is too small and has to be opened up. I landed hard two weeks ago and it actually cracked the bottom skin from the interference. No problem, I had a composite guy here at the time and he repaired it with a carbon patch in one day. Lucky me. But if I open up the gaps I will need the tape on the wings. Did you use it anywhere else?
