The 8672 Polyurethane tape we commonly use for our wing gap seal is apparently only available in black and transparent. I want something in white.

I have spoken with 3M and was told that 8671 is the same material but .014 thick instead of .008, and available in white. It is turning out to be impossible to find this material from any of 3M's distributors as it is not stocked. Special ordering it requires I purchase a minimum of a carton of rolls.

Has anyone obtained this material or used any other product successfully that is available in white? I do not want to go the route of filling the gap with silicone rubber as is the other approach.
