Before agreeing to this they require a record of "safe history" by 6 or more aircraft placarded at the higher 1800 lb weight having each flown in excess of 100 hours. Getting this information from Lancair seems difficult and I am hoping that some of your subscibers would find the time to fax me a note including Name Contact number Model and registration of aircraft Placarded weight Hours flown Incidents (hopefully none)! Comments - handling etc Signed (so that it can be handed to CASA as a document) I am presently building a second 360 for IFR - CASA require winglets or rudder-aileron interconnects plus the larger stabiliser for this purpose. My present aircraft has flown 300+ hours, has no header tank nor any special apparatus for the wing fuel pickups and has not missed a beat. Hoping you can help myself and the rest of us out here with our weight restrictions. Much appreciate your work on the site! Regards David
