You will be removing the cowling, inspect= ion panels and probably other pieces and parts MANY time during your test f= lying. Better to scratch up the primer rather than you pretty new paint. = I flew mine for 7 months before paint. I used the WLS primer applied with a sponge roller. When I called the manu= facturer they said their is not degradation of the primer as long as you do= n't sand it before flying. Leave it just the way it is after you roller i= t on. I have no knowledge of how other primers would hold up. Also, I appreciate Earls point about never getting it done. I've been flyi= ng mine for 4 years and still don't have the interior.
