Try this.
Take a small rubber suction cup.  Drill hole in center to accept small piece of tubing.  Silicone together. Tape suction cup over static port.  Apply mild suction to tube with syringe while pushing on the suction cup. Watch the altimeter, apply enough vacuum to get rise in altitude of 5000 -6000feet. Clamp tubing.  See if and how long it holds.  Double sided tape under the suction cup works well if not porus.  Found two leaks on my twin comanche this way!
