Aircraft brakes are now bled like a car. They are filled from the bottom up.

Open the brake line at the bleeder. Let all of the fluid out. Put the fluid back in from the bottom. An oil can filled with brake fluid, attached to the bleeder with a rubber hose is the normal way to do the fill. When the fluid runs out the top, the brakes are bled.
