I have about 100 hours on my 320. Although a slight amount of oil from the crankcase breather is deposited on the bottom of the fuselage, I've never noticed any exhaust deposits. I installed the exhaust system sold by Lancair. The foot-long extensions arc downward at about a 30 degree angle to the fuselage and the exit point is about 6 to 8 inches below the bottom of the fuselage. They are both fully within the area behind the lower cowl scoop. I use DuPont "Prep-Sol" to clean the oil from the bottom after flight. Although other solvents could be used, it's one that is designed for use on paint.
