Bill,
The servo is a pretty simple little device.  Everything is accessible with the case opened up.  The drive is a DC motor turning a threaded rod.  If the motor is still good, you should be able to just replace the wire.

Steve:  Thanks for the quick reply.  I found the servos (all except the MAC-9) listed in the ACS catalog.  My $99 servo now lists for over $300.

After grinding off several layers of my expensive Ranthane paint, I located the 2 little screws that hold the case on ( I hope).  There is a small chance that I might be able to replace the leads.

Thanks, Bill H.

Bill,

Contact the Ray Allen Company.  http://www.rayallencompany.com/products/trimsystems.html  They are the original manufacturer of MAC Servos and are very good at customer service.

My aileron servo died.

Desperately need a MAC-9 replacement......new - used-  any condition as long as working.

Anyone have an idea where I might find a replacement????

Actually, mine still works except one lead broke off.  Anyone know if its possible to get inside the unit to replace the lead.?

All help appreciated.  Thanks
