I actually forgot about a hot start trick I used in my Cirrus (IO550) that also works on the TSIO550 (I tested it)

When taxing to a fuel pump for example, instead of pulling the mixture to shut down the engine just switch off power and turn the key off.

Than fuel it up and before cranking (not touching anything else, no mixture, no throttle) switch on the low boost pump. Crank and just add throttle when it is firing up.

This actually works until 30min. after shut down (so in case you know you are going away again).

The reasoning behind this is that the fuel stays into the spider and has less space to vaporize (it has been explained to me like that many years ago).

Works really good, just try it, you will love it.
