You need a conductive surface for the wicks to be effective. If your 360
is E-glass they (the wicks) won't work. I have the same problem with my
Glasair III, all E-glass. I intend to spray the airplane with a
conductive gel coat and attach wicks to that. It also means that I have
to bond all control surfaces to the airframe and that my antennas will
probably have to be moved to the exterior of the aircraft.

Subject: [LML] Re: Static wicks
Is there any benefit at all to installing static wicks on a Lancair 360?
If so, how best to proceed?
