I have been manufacturing composite parts for homebuilt aircraft for ten years and have always felt that there was much room for improvement. I recently had the good fortune to meet Russ Emanis. Russ has developed advanced processes in vacuum infusion that have improved my parts quality more than I had imagined was possible. The part's weight is half that of wet layup and the resin savings alone more than pays for the bagging materials.
