Jumping in...Bill, I liked that idea initially but started thinking about how that introduces a whole bunch of issues that might not be tested. It bypasses the check valves, slosh bays, (return lines?) and adds new plumbing. I like the idea of dumping into the tank where the pilot has existing gauges and tested plumbing. At least if the new plumbing into the tank doesn't work the pilot has the existing fuel to work with and time to figure how to deal with the problem.
