I just read the AOPA article "Electronic flight
displays and the courts" in the June, 2011 issue on page 34.
A Lancair 235 flew into a Cessna 172 in VFR
conditions over Ohio at about 2400 ft.
Lawyers tried to sue Garmin because their flight
display caused a "distraction" that resulted in the mid-air.
Yes, it was dismissed . . . thankyou !
