On my Legacy, = there had been a infrequent smell of Avgas on approach when the gear = went down. I thought it was the venting on the wing bottom having = spotted traces of blue from the naca vent. More recently, I detected = the smell on the ground when I would open the canopy. During the latest condition inspection I removed the sides covering the = Andair in/out ports to find the left return banjo covered in blue stain. = The A&P reported is was loose and retorqued to the Andair spec. None = of the 4 Banjo fittings were lockwired and the Andair spec shows that = they should be. I have 422 hours on the airframe. http://www.andair.co.uk/pdfs/BFI20.pdf Paul=20 Spruce Creek =20=
