The pitch servo is mounted across from the rear fuselage access panel and attaches to the push-pull tube via a wire bridle. The STEC-55 manual has a complete diagram for the L-IV installation which helps alot. My A/C is also self installed. I mounted the evaporator on the forward side of bulkhead 208 where it feeds the cold air directly into overhead air duct. The condenser is mounted under the lower floor of the baggage compartment where it just clears the gear, when retracted. I use the air plenum in the tail, which used to feed the overhead air duct, to funnel air through the condenser. To insure sufficient airflow thru the condenser on the ground, I have added a 4" in-line blower. Also I have kept the 3" blower, which mounts on the top forward side of the pressure bulkhead, in the overhead air duct to aid in cold air flow on a hot day. I'm thinking of blocking off the NACA inlet in the tail if I find out that the condenser doesnt need additional air. My system is still evolving. Hope this helps a little. Regards, Bill Hogarty
